Tim Jeter
President, Funeral Director in Charge
Tim Jeter has been around the funeral business all his life. He has been active in the business for nearly 30 years. He grew up in the Dallas area, graduating from Tyler Street Christian Academy and The University of Dallas. Tim and his wife Amy have been married for 27 years and have two children, Chase and Maddy. Chase is attending Texas A&M University, and Maddy is a junior in high school.
Tim is very active in his church, has participated in many sports over the years, enjoys hunting with his family, and loves spending time in the Texas Hill Country.
He is a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer, is a Certified Cremation Specialist, and has been honored as Funeral Director of the Year in the North Texas Funeral Directors Association. But his passion continues to be helping people navigate through one of the most difficult days of their lives, serving as their funeral director.

Dennis Jeter
Founder
A native of Oklahoma, he’s been an area resident since 1963. Dennis earned a bachelor’s degree from Oklahoma City University and a master’s from University of Oklahoma. He has been a funeral director since 1967, helping countless families along the way.
Dennis is very active in his church, in civic organizations, and enjoys exercise. He is thankful to the Lord for the privilege of working with his children, serving families during a challenging time

Alma Trujillo
Licensed Funeral Director & Crematory Operator
Alma Trujillo lives in Dallas County. She graduated in 2003 and received her Funeral Director’s License in 2017. She began working in the funeral industry in 2011 after being employed at a local hospital and retail outlets. She began as a receptionist, then as a lead crematory operator, and then as a licensed funeral director. Alma is skilled in meeting with families and providing one-of-a-kind services for those who seek compassion and quality.
Alma enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She is a strong Dallas Stars supporter and supports her local community through a motorcycle riding organization. Not only is she involved in the Dallas and Tarrant County communities, but she also enjoys crocheting beanies for her fur babies.

Erin finds deep satisfaction in bringing comfort to families during their most difficult times. With a warm smile and a kind heart, she has been a dedicated part of Jeter & Son Funeral Home since 2000. Her bachelor's degree in counseling psychology allows her to provide compassionate and professional care, ensuring each family feels supported throughout the grieving process.
When she's not serving others, she enjoys spending time with her husband and son, exploring new places, sharing laughter with friends, and cooking and baking for her loved ones.
Erin Jeter Singleton

Scott Emmert

A native of Cleburne, Texas, Scott graduated from Mansfield High School, Mansfield, Texas, Abilene Christian University with a bachelor’s in business and the Dallas Institute of Funeral Service. He has been licensed in Texas since 1998 and has worked at Jeter & Son since 2018. He likes working on and around his house and yard when away from work.

Carl Allen, Funeral Director Assistant and Pastor at Fairview Baptist Church in Grand Prairie, is a compassionate professional balancing dual roles with grace. Currently pursuing a funeral director license at Northeast Texas Community College, he holds a master’s degree in divinity and is licensed to sell preneed.
Beyond his commitment to the community, Carl is a devoted family man, married with two children. His off-duty hours are dedicated to quality family time and indulging in his love for reading.
With a heart for service, continuous learning, and a strong spiritual foundation, Carl brings comfort and support to grieving families in times of need. His commitment to professional growth and personal connections makes him a valuable presence in both the funeral industry and the spiritual community.

Shirley Hix lives in Dallas. She was born in Paden, OK, but moved to Lewisville at a very young age. Most of her adult life was spent working in the insurance field. Shirley retired in 1994 and spent the next few years traveling with her husband. She started working for Jeter & Son - Cedar Hill Chapel in May of 2013. Shirley enjoys taking cruises and spending time in San Antonio with her great granddaughter.

Karon was born in Pampa, Texas. After getting married in 1965, she and her husband, Alvin, moved to Cedar Hill, where she still resides. Having been in the insurance business for over 40 years, she retired in 2012.
She joined Jeter & Son - Cedar Hill Chapel in June, 2025 and strives to contribute to their compassionate care.
