Roger Jaimes Reynoso

With heavy hearts, we announce the unexpected passing of Roger Jaimes on July 10, 2026, in Duncanville, Texas. Roger was born June 7, 1975, to Antonio and Eva Jaimes. He was raised in the Oak Cliff community, where he spent his childhood and built long life memories.

Roger was the beloved second of five children, growing up alongside three brothers and one sister (Alex, Tony, Jimmy and Ruby). His childhood and teenage years were filled with challenges and difficult circumstances. From a young age, Roger learned the value of hard work. Those early struggles instilled in him a determination and work ethic that stayed with him throughout his life.

Roger was a self-made business man who started his flooring business with the hope that it would become the beginning of a prosperous future- and it did.Through determination, hard work, and a willingness to learn. He taught himself the trade, developed his skills over the years and built a successful business. He believed in honest work, took pride in doing every job well, and earned the respect of many through his dedication, perseverance, and unwavering commitment to providing for himself and those he loved.

More than anything, Roger will be remembered for his larger-than-life personality. He loved to laugh and never missed the opportunity to joke around and tease those closest to him. Family gatherings simply weren’t the same without his running commentary, and no one was ever safe from becoming the target of one of his jokes. Roger had a way of saying what everyone else was thinking, and in an instant, the entire room would erupt in laughter. Those moments of joy, laughter, and togetherness are memories that his family and friends will cherish forever.

Above all, Roger loved his family. Whether sharing stories, lending a hand, or making everyone laugh, he treasured time spent with those he loved most. Although his time with us was far too short, the memories he created and his legacy of resilience, hard work, humor, and unconditional love will continue to live on in the hearts of his family and friends.

Roger is survived by his father, Antonio; his mother, Eva; his loving partner, Mariela, his two children, Christian and Jaqueline; his brothers, Alejandro (Alex), Antonio (Tony and his sister-in-law, Felicia), and Jaime (Jimmy); his sister, Rubia (Ruby); his bonus brothers, Paul Ortiz and John Alejandro; his nephews, Alex, Jacob, and Joshua; his nieces, Abigail, Valerie, and Sofia; his great nephew, Levi; and his great niece, Gissella, along with a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m and a service to celebrate Roger's life will be held on July 22, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, 4830 West Illinois Avenue, Dallas, TX 75211, in the chapel. Following the service, Roger will be laid to rest at Little Bethel in Duncanville, Texas, with a reception to follow at the Aleman Event Center, 830 Singleton Dr., Grand Prairie, TX 75051.
