Zelma Jean Petrik, 76, of Cedar Hill, peacefully passed away on June 05, 2022 surrounded by loved ones, after a difficult battle with Cancer.

Jean was born on June 25, 1945 to Willie and Vanita Summers in the Dallas. She worked at Cedar Hill ISD for over 12 years. Jean was passionate about CHISD and loved what she did for a living. In 1990, she met Randy Petrik at work. Randy and Jean went on to have No Kids together but had 5 kids from Previous Marriages. Jean had Kimberly and Kelley; and Randy had Randy Jr., Jennifer and Crystal.

Jean retired in 2010 after 12 Years in the field. While retired, Jean had time to pursue her love of Reading, Games and Puzzles. Jean was preceded by her parents Willie and Vanita Summers.

She is survived by Loving Husband Randy Petrik; children, Kimberly Pruitt, Kelley Beminio, Randy Petrik Jr., Jennifer Lee, and Crystal Moon. Grandchildren, Krystal, Michael, Jessica, Matthew, Kari, Chris, Kayla, Cameron, Joseph and Ethan; great Grandchildren, Anthony, Masie, Kizier, Karlee, Kayden, Jerzee and Keithan.

A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM Saturday July 9, 2022, at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, Cedar Hill Chapel; 332 Cedar St. Cedar Hill, TX  75104
