Will (Bill) Nathan Simpkins

William (Bill) Nathan Simpkins Sr., of Arlington, TX, passed away on March 5, 2024, at the age of 72.

Born in Salem, New Jersey on April 22, 1951; Bill was a proud veteran of the United States Army. He served from 1971 - 1992 with Sergeant First Class as his highest rank. Commendations: MSM, ARCOM w/2 oak leafs, AAM w/5 oak leafs, x7 GCM, NDSM w/1 service star, Armed Forces Expeditionary Medal, KDSM, NCOPD Ribbon, Army Service Ribbon, Army Overseas Ribbon w/3, Expert Rifle Badge, KDSM.

He is preceded in death by both parents: Wilma Anna Simpkins and Charles William Cossaboon.

He is survived by loving wife Kim (Chun-Im) Simpkins of 53 years, and their four children: William Nathan Simpkins Jr. (Robin Simpkins); grandchildren Chloe and Aric Simpkins, Andrew Wayne Simpkins (Jessica Simpkins); grandchildren Jacob (Inurrigarro), Jaiden and Jai Simpkins, Crystal Tenorio (Albert Leung); grandchildren Carisma & Victoria Tenorio, Angela Reneè Armellino (Chris Armellino); grandchildren Matthew & Lillian Armellino.

Visitation will be held from 9:45 a.m. – 10:30 a.m. Tuesday March 12, 2024 at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, 4830 W. Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX, 75211 and will immediately follow at Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX, 75211, at 11:00 a.m..
