Victoria A. Najera, age 89, earned her wings on Tuesday, October 11,2022 of natural causes. She passed away peacefully in her sleep. She was born March 6,1933 in Waco, Texas. She then moved to Dallas, Texas, where she worked at Luna Tortilla Factory, Susan Crane, and Manor Bakery where she retired at the age of 62. Victoria was a very hardworking independent woman. She was known as "Vickey" to her friends and "Big Ma" to her family. She loved Jigsaw puzzles and to play Loteria. In her younger years she loved going to the Bingo Halls. Her greatest pleasure was seeing her DALLAS COWBOYS and TEXAS RANGERS play ball.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Alfonso Najera; mother, Cecilia Lizcano Almendarez; father, Nicolas Almendarez; brothers, Santos Almendarez Sr. and Willie Lizcano Almendarez; son, Richard Chavarria; grandson, Nick A. Guerrero; great grandchildren Marcus and Mariah Ramirez.

She is survived by her daughters, Mickey P. Antillon and Gloria G. Cavazos. sons, Lupe A. Guerrero and Tony Guerrero. Grandchildren; Lisa A Hernandez, Michelle P. Hernandez, Juan M. Hernandez lll, Mickey Ann Chavarria, Richard Chavarria Jr., Jessie I. Chavarria, Ismael Guerrero, Hector Guerrero, Lupe Guerrero, Vanessa Guerrero. Great-grandchildren; Corina Ann Mendoza, Briana Lynn Bones, Joshua Javier Garcia, Noah Juan Hernandez, Mariah Rangel, Destiny Guerrero, Emily Guerrero, Madison J. Chavarria, Julia Emma Chavarria, Camila Eva Chavarria. Great-great-grandchildren; Jayden Correa, Aayden Correa, Cassie Correa, Logan Devine, Zoey Guerrero, Zelda Guerrero, Waylon Guerrero, Dragnia Guerrero, Isabel Marie Guerrero.

Pallbearers: Juan M. Hernandez lll, Hector Guerrero, Richard Chavarria Jr, Joshua J. Garcia, Jayden Correa, Santos Almendarez Jr.

Victoria, was called home on Monday October 11, 2022.

She will be missed by Many.

Visitation will be 2:00 PM - 6:00 PM with a Rosary at 4:30 PM, Tuesday October 18, 2022, at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, Cedar Hill Chapel, 332 Cedar St., Cedar Hill, TX  75104.  Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday October 19, 2022, at 11:00 AM, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1111 W. Danieldale Rd., Duncanville, TX  75137.  Interment will follow at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas.
