Obituary

Victor Tom Rodriguez

March 25, 1950 - February 24, 2025

Victor Tom Rodriguez, known by many as Peanuts was born in Dallas, Tx to Minerva and Victor Rodriguez. Victor passed away on Feb 24, 2025 at his home in Desoto, Tx with his wife, Georgia and family by his side. He attended Crozier Tech High School and enlisted in the United States Army in 1967.  Victor studied  Art at El Centro College and worked in multiple print shops in Dallas throughout his career as a print machine operator, specializing in embossing.

He enjoyed cooking, especially on the grill. He was always telling jokes and listening to music; anything from Hendrix to Motown and Tejano.

He loved to shoot pool and play poker. He was a huge supporter of the Texas Lottery and almost always had a scratch off he needed to cash. Of course his favorite football team was the Dallas Cowboys. He loved professional boxing and growing up participated in the Golden Gloves himself. In his final days, Victor's requests were simple... he wanted to be home,  surrounded by family, watching old westerns on tv and drinking coca cola.

Victor was preceded in death by his mother Minerva and His father Victor . He survived by his wife Georgia Hernandez Rodriguez, his siblings Roland Rodriguez, Irma Sabillion, JoAnn Herrera and Lisa Duhamel, children Alesia Lizalde , Tom Rodriguez, Dorothy Levine, John Rodriguez,  & Vicki Mercado, his 12 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and very large extended family.
