In Loving Memory of Tommy Lee Tobar

Tommy Lee Tobar, beloved son, brother, grandson, nephew, cousin, and friend, was born April 20, 2000, in Dallas, Texas, and passed away August 22, 2026, at the age of 26.

He was always just Tommy—genuine, unapologetically himself, and never afraid to be exactly who he was. He brought life into every room with his unforgettable laugh, energy, personality, and goofy photo poses. But more than anything, Tommy will be remembered for his kind heart and the way his presence made ordinary moments feel special.

Though his life was far too short, Tommy gave his family and friends countless memories that will bring both laughter and comfort for years to come.

Tommy is survived by his mother, Mona Lisa Tobar; Thomas Ramirez as “Bonus Dad”; his brothers, Nicolas Lee Gallegos, Lionel Barraza Gallegos Jr., Ilan Lee Gallegos, and Jason Chavez; his grandparents, Irene Paredes and Andrew Tobar; his great-grandparents, Augustina Paredes and Nicolas Paredes; his aunts, Juanita Marquez, Mary Diaz, Melissa Garza, and Geneva Garza Sanchez; his uncles, Armando Paredes, Amado Tobar, Nicolas Paredes, and Joe Paredes; and his close cousins, Anne Diaz, Yasmin Baca, Mariah Brown, Victoria Brown, Elissa Sanchez, Eyanna Sanchez, Angel Garza, Jesse Miller and Edward Sanchez, III.

The family is deeply grateful for every prayer, kind word, and expression of support.

Visitation will be held on Friday, August 28, 2026, from 2:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. in the chapel of Jeter & Son Funeral Home, located at 4830 West Illinois Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75211.
