TOMMY ALLEN

Tommy L. Allen, 74, of Duncanville, TX passed away on November 20, 2022. A Celebration of Life service will be conducted by Pastor Gordon Butler on November 30 at 12 noon at Jeter and Son Funeral Home at 4830 W Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX . Visitation will be held one hour prior to the services.

Tom was born on August 25, 1948 in Dallas, TX to Thomas and Betty Allen. He married Patricia Allen (Fleming) on September 4, 1970. Tom was a local truck driver for Coco-Cola for many years before switching to long haul trucking for JB Hunt. After 20 years Tom retired to care for his wife. He spent years in the 1970's working the games at the State Fair of Texas every October. Tom played bass guitar with many church groups starting at a young age and most recently played at Kiestwood Assembly of God.

Surviving are his loving wife Patricia, daughters Tina (Alex) Merrifield of Allen and Terri (Ron) Crane of Waxahachie, 6 beloved grandchildren, 17 beloved great grandchildren, and brother Michael (Zubeda) Allen of Farmers Branch. Tom was preceded in death by his parents, daughter Beth Richardson, and grandson Tommy Simmons.
