His parents were William Arthur Williams (Bill) and Alicia Cisneros Williams (Alice)

Thomas passed away at 1:19 pm April 10th, 2023 in Dallas, Texas

He attended high school at Alief Elsik from 1992 - 1993, Kailua Hawaii High School in 1991 and Lancaster, California in 1990 and attended college at Trinity Valley Community College in Athens, TX.

Thomas had two previous marriages and no children.

During his lifetime Thomas pursued a variety of careers, from working in the family drywall construction business to learning how to be an excellent cook in New Orleans and subsequently working in several restaurants in the Athens, TX area among others in addition to having a distinguished military career.

Thomas was a decorated military veteran, having honorably served in the US Army from 2001 thru 2011. He served many years in active war zones, namely 3 years in Afghanistan and 1 year in Iraq and was very proud to be of service to his country. He spoke of the sense of purpose that the military gave him and he loved pursuing difficult achievements and knowing that he was making a difference in the lives of many through his service. Some of the honors Thomas obtained include the Iraq Campaign Medal with two campaign stars, Afghanistan Campaign Medal with two campaign stars, Jordanian Parachutist Badge, Royal Netherlands Army Parachute Badge, Royal Australian Army Parachutist Badge, German Armed Forces Parachute Badge Bronze, with several others as well.

Aside from the military service Thomas had a wide ranging spectrum of interest. From youth he was an excellent artist and very creative. He would write comic strips influenced by his two favorites, Garfield along with Calvin and Hobbs. He turned his drawing skills growing up into becoming a proficient graphic designer and enjoyed creating virtual digital characters on online platforms. Thomas had a strong love of music and taught himself how to play the guitar, fiddle and was determined to become a proficient violin player. His latest favorite musician was Taylor Swift and he was quite passionate about her work and as a big time Swiftie loved collecting her memorabilia. Some of his favorite groups over the years were The Cure, Concrete Blonde and Danzig. Thomas loved the beauty of the world around him and curated a peaceful rich environment. His love of books, art, roses, nature, math, science, technology and music permeated through wherever he lived. He always had a great sense of style and design and took pride in being well dressed.

Articulate, caring, compassionate, loving, intelligent, artistic and noble, Thomas was loved by many and was passionate and intense in his feelings towards those he cared about. Thomas was also very spiritual, he had a deep love and connection with God and his entire life he studied the Bible and spoke to others about Christianity and led others to be saved. Thomas had a beautiful mind and a loving soul and received joy and happiness in helping others and making life better for those he met.

Preceded in death by his father William Arthur Williams and brothers Billy Williams and Johnny Williams.

Survived by his mother Alice Williams and brothers Charlie Williams, David Williams, Timothy Williams and Kenneth Williams.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 a.m. to 12:00 Noon, Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Jeter & Son Funeral Home with a funeral service at 12:00 Noon. Military Honors and Interment will follow at Dallas/ Fort Worth National Cemetery.
