Thelma Patricia Herrera

January 13, 1974 -July 25, 2025

Thelma Patricia Herrera, 51, was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, and friend. She is survived by her three children: Gina Elizabeth Torres, Juan Carlos Herrera, and Sara Patricia Herrera; her beloved granddaughter, Amelia Evangeline Vargas; and her furbabies, Luna Ray Vargas and Neo Herrera. Thelma's loving presence also touched the lives of her nieces and nephews: Eddie Albert Trevino, Stacy Trevino, Niki Amber Beeg, Isaac Arturo Portales, Madelyn Joy Trevino, Mia Evaluna Portales, Amora Mae Beeg, and Kai Leon Beeg.

A passionate lover of both film and music, Thelma was rarely far from her favorite tunes or the latest movie release. Whether listening to new artists or revisiting songs from her youth, she could always be found quoting lines from her favorite films, often perfectly tying them into conversations. Her wit and sense of humor never failed to bring joy to those around her, and she had a special way of connecting her interests to others, sharing her love through laughter and light-hearted moments.

For two decades, Thelma dedicated herself to her work at Brinks, where she formed lifelong friendships and earned the respect of all who knew her. Her coworkers remember her for her relentless dedication, constantly going above and beyond to learn new skills and master new challenges. Through her leadership and training, Thelma inspired others, proving that growth and learning are possible at any stage in life—no matter one's age or background.

Even in the most challenging moments, Thelma never stopped showering her loved ones with affection. Her legacy lives on in the love and strength she gave to all who were fortunate enough to know her.
