Stephanie Yolanda Taylor

December 24, 1963 - December 25, 2022

Stephanie Y. Taylor, mother, sister, aunt, friend, joined hands with the Lord, closed her eyes and fell into the heart and arms of those who waited for her. Stephanie passed on 25 December 2022 at the age of 59 after a dauntless battle with cancer.

Stephanie was born in Shreveport, Louisiana, to Joseph O. and Dorothy B Taylor on 24 December 1963. She graduated from Fair Park High School in 1981 and attended Louisiana Tech University in Ruston, LA.

The simplest pleasures in life brought great joy to Stephanie. She thoroughly enjoyed spending time with her family and found peace in the outdoors and fishing. Stephanie had an uncanny ability to find happiness in her everyday life and would do anything for anyone. She always lit up the room with her smile and sense of humor even while struggling with her own hardships. Stephanie was preceded in death by her father, Joseph and mother, Dorothy. She is survived by her son, Lamarcus Taylor (Sarah), grandson, Elijah, brothers, Joseph O. Taylor (Audrey) and Harold Taylor (Janet), sisters Deborah Jones and Vannester Mahoney (Glenn), and many uncles, aunts and nieces and nephews.
