Sone Phim, 83, of Irving, Texas, passed away on January 13, 2026. He was born on August 5, 1942, in Pakse, Laos.
Sone was the beloved husband of Symoune Semathong Phim, with whom he shared 58 years of marriage. He was the proud patriarch of his family—a strong foundation, guiding presence, and source of unwavering support.

A hardworking and deeply responsible man, Sone lived a life defined by dedication to his family, physical strength, and spiritual devotion. He was known for his quiet resilience, humility, and selflessness. He never complained and always placed the needs of others before his own. His strength of character and steadfast love touched everyone who knew him.

He was preceded in death by his son, Khamphone Phim, in 2023. Sone is survived by his loving wife, Symoune Semathong Phim; his sons, Phetsamone Phim, Keooudone Phim, and Inphon Phim; one brother; one sister; five cherished grandchildren; and many extended family members and friends who will forever remember his guidance and love.
