Socorro Corral-Olivas
Estrada

Socorro Corral-Olivas de Estrada
May 29, 1952 - August 22, 2024
Socorro Corral-Olivas Estrada, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, cousin, niece, and wonderful woman, passed away on August 22, 2024. Socorro was an amazing woman who lived her life to the fullest every single day. She lived her life as Jesus Christ taught us to live; serving and always giving to others. She always wanted to help everyone around her, even if she did not know you personally. She visited and fed the sick, clothed the needy, provided shelter to the homeless, and always was giving advice to everyone to make sure they were eating healthy. Socorro was known for her famous Tamale recipe as she was an incredible cook. Her Thanksgiving meals will never be forgotten. She worked tirelessly to be the best wife to Manuel Menchaca Estrada, the incredible mother to her four children, Violeta, Olegario, Maria Elizabeth, and Vanessa. Her grandchildren were so dear to her. She loved each one and made sure that each one knew she loved them in her own unique special way. Kaitlyn, Camila, Meny, Cristian, and Mila each had their own special bond with her. Socorro was always humble, polite, and spread joy to each person she met. She worked as a housewife until her husband passed away. Thereafter, she worked at the Law Office of Olegario Estrada, P.C. with her son and daughters and helped with bookkeeping and other human resource tasks. She was amazing at math and accounting and she was self taught. Socorro was an incredible role model for how one should strive to live life; loving unconditionally and always praising God. She will be missed by everyone who was blessed to know her.
