Silverio Mendoza, born on June 20, 1936, in Mexico, passed away peacefully on April 13, 2026, in DeSoto, Texas, at the age of 89.

Silverio was a wonderful and loving family man whose kindness, strength, and devotion touched all who knew him. He was the heart of his family—a source of wisdom, warmth, and unwavering love. His legacy will live on through the countless memories shared by his loved ones and the example he set through a life lived with generosity and faith.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 21, 2026, from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Jeter & Son Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Santa Clara Catholic Church on Wednesday, April 22, 2026 at 10:00 a.m., followed by a Committal Service at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens at 12:30 p.m.

Silverio will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who were blessed to know him.

Silverio fue un hombre de familia maravilloso y amoroso, cuya amabilidad, fortaleza y devoción tocaron a todos los que lo conocieron. La visita se llevará a cabo el martes 21 de abril de 2026, de 1:00 p.m. a 6:00 p.m. en la Funeraria Jeter & Son. La Misa de Funeral Cristiano se celebrará en la Iglesia Católica Santa Clara el miércoles 22 de abril de 2026, seguida de un Servicio de Entierro en Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens.

Silverio será profundamente extrañado por su familia, amigos y todos los que tuvieron la bendición de conocerlo.
