Obituary

Sheila Williams

January 25, 1959  `  November 30, 2024

With heavy hearts, we remember Sheila Naomi Williams, who entered this life on January 25, 1959, in Fort Worth, Texas and departed on November 30, 2024, at the age of 65. At the time of her passing, Sheila resided in Desoto, Texas, leaving us with cherished memories and everlasting love. Her adherence to her Christian faith provided a moral compass that guided her life.

After attending Northside High School, Sheila pursued further education at TCC, obtaining an Associate Degree that empowered her to excel in her career. She proudly stepped into a leadership role at First Command Financial Services, where she was a trusted mentor and a dedicated colleague. In 1993, she married her late husband, a union rooted in love and shared dreams.

Sheila was steadfast in her devotion to her family, nurturing her sons Tim, now 43, and Justin, 40, with love and wisdom. Her legacy of care extended to her grandchildren—Madison, Lyric, Jacob, and Olivia—each of whom benefited from her generous heart and thoughtful guidance.

The family bonds so dear to her were formed by her parents, Zelma and Alton Crockett, and her sisters Carolyn Cephus, Dolly Williams and Dorothy Harden, all of whom predeceased her, as well as her brother Lee Crockett. Surviving her are sister Beverly Dews, sister Charlotte Peterson, and brothers Ollie, Steven, and Jimmy Crockett. Her sons Timothy and Justin Kendrick remain as living testaments to the depth of her love.

As we gather in Sheila's memory, we find solace in the lasting influence of her love, which echoes through her family and friends. A parent's love is eternal, and although Sheila is no longer with us, the guidance and care she imparted will forever light our way.
