Sean Kevin O'Donnel Sr., loving father of six, passed away on November 13, 2022 in Red Oak, Texas. He was 55 years old. Sean was born on June 5, 1967 in Baltimore, Maryland. He graduated from South Grand Prairie High School in 1985. He soon took an interest in automotive repair and went on to become a Ford Certified Master Mechanic for many years. He gained an overwhelmingly positive reputation at his dealership and frequently had a waiting list of clients who wanted only him to work on their cars.He moved to Athens, Texas, then Shreveport, Louisiana and eventually settled in Red Oak, Texas near his mother. Sean enjoyed riding his Harley, sometimes solo, but mostly with a band of good friends. He was proud to be an active member of Bikers Against Child Abuse International. Sean was a talented drummer who's love for music overflowed to everyone around him. He passed on his talent for drumming to some of his children, while others were blessed with at least one of his other great qualities such as his artistic skills, compassion for animals, cooking skills, outgoing personality, and his sense of humor.Sean is survived by his mother, Sandra Wilkie of Red Oak, Texas; his brother, Jack O'Donnel of Manassas, Virginia; his children, Jessica O'Donnel of Haynesville, Louisiana, Sean O'Donnel Jr. and Nicholas O'Donnel of Denison, Texas, Declan O'Donnel of Red Oak, Texas, Rowan O'Donnel and Zoe O'Donnel of St. Clairsville, Ohio; and his grandchildren, Eli and Hadley (Jessica's children), and Memphis (Sean Jr's son).A memorial service for Sean is scheduled for 1 p.m. on November 18th, 2022 at:Jeter & Son - Cedar Hill Chapel332 Cedar StreetCedar Hill, Texas 75104In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his name to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention ( https://supporting.afsp.org/).
