Navarro
Nov 24, 1953 — Jun 16, 2024
Sarah Navarro
Sarah Ann "Mimi" Navarro sadly passed away peacefully on June 16, 2024. The very date of her 53rd wedding anniversary. Sarah was born to Ernestine and Jack McLendon on November 24, 1953 in Hopkinsville, KY.
In her teenage years, she'd meet the love of her life Nicholas, at Fort Campbell Army base. In 1971, they would then relocate back to Nicholas's home town, Dallas, TX. They would go on to create a life and legacy worth being proud of. Upon retirement, Sarah and Nick would end up owning a cattle ranch in Corsicana, Tx. They were married for 46 years and had 2 children. Her husband precedes her in death (July 8, 2017)
Sarah was a nurse, and a proud lifetime homemaker. She was a very intricate part of the Family Support division of the US Army, and spent countless years hosting special events for the wives and families of soldiers. In her younger years, she loved selling Home Interiors and hosting party's. One of her greatest joys was being at a casino! She had an incredibly giving heart, and loved without limits. She was a blessing to the lives of so many.
Sarah loved and cherished her family more than anything in the world. She is survived by her daughter Michelle Lindsey and husband Kent, and her son Nicholas. 4 grandchildren - Christian, Alexis, Kendalyn & Kent Jr. 4 great grandchildren - Calleigh, Kensleigh, Maleigha & Graceson. Her brother Tony McLendon and wife Tammy. And countless other friends and family members with whom she's impacted their lives in so many ways.
She will desperately be missed.
Her Memorial service will be held at 12:00pm on Friday July 12, 2024 at Jeter & Son Funeral Home - Cedar Hill.
