Ryan Micah Benson

Ryan Micah Benson, 36 years of age, of Dallas, Texas, passed away on April 15, 2023.
Ryan was born on June 12, 1986, to Rodney Keith Benson and Paphasone Sangvone in Dallas, Texas. He
graduated from Sam Houston High School in 2004.
As a devoted son, brother and uncle, Ryan was known as "Dae Dae" to his close friends and family. He
had a big and kind heart so no matter who he met, he was willing to accept them as family and look after
them like they were his own blood relative. Ryan quickly became known as the big brother of the block.
He had the type of energy that pulled everyone towards him. Everyone loved being around him since he
was very comical and just made everyone laugh and really lit up the room. He had a smile that will surely
be missed. Some of his favorite things to do was game on the Xbox, spend time with his family and
friends, travel, and meditate. He loved photographing fashion and streetwear. He was also a
sneakerhead, a music lover and great at giving advice.
Ryan was predeceased by Rodney Keith Benson (Father), Thaovone Sangvone (Maternal Grandfather),
Augusta Benson Jr. (Paternal Grandfather), and Joann Battee (Maternal Grandmother). He is survived by
his mother, Paphasone Sangvone, his older sister, Cassie Camille Benson, his younger brother, Thaivone
Rein Benson, nephew, Jhett Jay Benson-Luckey, grandmother, Khemkham Sangvone (Maternal), along
with several uncles, aunts, and cousins.

Services will be held at Jeter & Sons Funeral Home (4830 W. Illinois Ave, Dallas, Texas 75211) on Saturday
April 22, 2023, at 12:00 PM. The Sangvone/Benson family would like to thank everyone for their
thoughts and prayers, condolences, and support during this difficult time.
