In Loving Memory of

 Rumy Valentino Perez

October 10, 1991 – July 4, 2026

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of our beloved Rumy Valentino Perez, who passed away on July 4, 2026, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 34. Born on October 10, 1991, to Valentin Polanco Perez and Maria Garcia Adame, Rumy was a son, brother, uncle, and friend whose kindness left a lasting mark on everyone who knew him.

Rumy found joy in the people and passions that made him who he was. He loved video games, card games, music, stickers, learning languages, and sharing his love for Hatsune Miku and Atarashii Gakko! He was a true homebody, known for taking over the TV and always claiming the aux cord. More than anything, Rumy loved being with family and friends. He had a generous heart, gave the kind of advice that stayed with you, and treated everyone with the same kindness our parents taught us by example.

Whether he was introducing someone to a new game, sharing his favorite music, or talking about something he was passionate about, Rumy had a way of making people feel welcome. His witty humor, thoughtful advice, and genuine kindness made even the simplest moments special. He leaves behind countless memories filled with laughter, love, and the comfort of simply being together.

Rumy was preceded in death by his great-grandmother, Anita Rodriguez; his grandmothers, Corina Rosalinda Salazar and Lupita Saenz; his uncles, Victor Monreal and Paul Olvera; his cousin, Vanessa Garcia; and his beloved dog, Boobie Perez.

He is survived by his father, Valentin Polanco Perez and his significant other Alicia Romero Perez; his mother, Maria Garcia Adame; his stepfather, Abraham Adame; his brother, Adrian Paul Perez; his sister, Mia-Alena Corina Sandoval; his brother-in-law, Alexander Sandoval; his nieces, Elena Ray Perez and Corina Maria Sandoval; his aunts, Juanita Garza and Rosalinda Lancaster; his uncles, Ricky Garcia and Eleazar Garcia; his cousins, Cameron Lancaster, Kyle Lancaster, Paul Olvera, and Cynthia Olvera; and many beloved friends and extended family members.

We will miss his laugh, his presence, and all the little things that made him uniquely Rumy. We are grateful for every memory we share with him, and we will carry his love with us always.
