Rudy E. Contreras

May 24, 1957 - April 4, 2023

We are heartbroken to announce that Rudy E Contreras has left us to join our Lord Jesus Christ. Rudy was 65 years old. He was a devoted husband and loving father. Rudy was Born 5/24/1957 in Brownfield Texas and passed away 4/4/2023 in Dallas Texas.

Rudy was in the US Army and served for 2 terms. During his time in the Army, he became a Ranger during the Vietnam war and ended his service in Germany. He was always known for his Charisma and big heart which caught the attention of his lovely wife Dianne Banda Contreras and then married 2/25/2000. Rudy was a talented truck driver for more than 15 years and then retired. During his retirement he was able to enjoy the company of his family and beloved dogs. He loved to cook and fix anything that was broken or anything that needed "More power." Everyone always knew him for his Western shows and his love of wolves.

Rudy is Survived by: Wife (Dianne B Contreras), Sibling (Eva Contreras), 3 Children (Laurie Benitez, Rudy Contreras, Sylvia Ruiz), 6 grandchildren, and 4 great grandchildren

He will be sadly missed and will always hold a special place in all our hearts.

Visitation will be held at Jeter & Son Funeral Home on April 12, 2023 from 1-6pm, with a Rosary at 4:30pm.

Funeral services will be held at Jeter & Son Funeral Home on April 13, 2023 at 10am.

Military Honors and Internment will be held at the Dallas/Fort Worth National Cemetery on April 13, 2023 at 11:30am.
