Rudolph Albert Alba born February 6, 1956 in Taylor, Texas to Agripina Betty Salas and Jesse Alba. He died on June 30, 2024 in Dallas, Texas.
Rudy worked in several businesses and was considered an entrepreneur. He was employed at Trevino's Agency as an Income Tax preparer, Notary Public, and passport photographer. As well as a sales and advertising consultant. He proudly established his own office as ALBA Agency in Austin, Texas and ALBA's Passport Fotos in San Antonio, Texas. He also owned a car tinting and radio installation shop. Rudy was a DJ at K O N O 98.5 Radio Station in Dallas, Texas.
While in Austin, Texas Rudy volunteered in helping in the community neighborhood by helping children "Break dance" and coordinating choreography dances after school and assisting and preparing the children for competitions. He also had several hobbies that included entering hot rods for racing events in the Grand Prairie Shows. Rudy thoroughly enjoyed racing at the Yellow Belly Drag Way and favored assisting his brother in law working as a mechanic and painting cars. He was well known for the love of the Dallas Cowboys, music, dancing, bowling, DJ'ing, and Hot Rods.
Rudy was preceded in death by his sister, Betty Ann Andrade, stepfather Espiridion Salas, grandparents, Juanita and Jose Trevino, great-grand parent Sixto Mendez Trevino, uncles Guillermo, Raymundo, Arturo, Richard, and Joe; aunts, Lydia Delgado, Celia Ramirez, Mary Alice Gulley, and Stella Rubio. He is survived by his mother Agripina Betty Salas; siblings: Wilma Ramirez, Sarah Salcedo, and Debbie Garcia; aunt, Mary Jane Dominguez; children: Rudy Alva, Alex Alva, Ricky Alba, Crystal Rodriguez, and Stefanie Loera; fifteen grandchildren; nine great-grand children, and many other cherished family members and friends.
Visitation will be at 10:00 AM with a funeral service at 11:00 AM, Thursday, July 11, 2024, at Jeter and Son Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas. Graveside service and interment will follow at Southland Memorial Park, Grand Prairie, Texas.
