It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Ruby Aracelly Cruz, who tragically left us at the age of 23 on July 25, 2025, following a devastating accident.

Born on October 1, 2001, to her devoted parents, Ana and Miguel Cruz, Ruby was a bright light in the lives of everyone who knew her. A 2020 graduate of Moises E. Molina High School, Ruby's infectious energy, humor, and deep love for her family and friends left an indelible mark on all who crossed her path. She was a one-of-a-kind soul, a ray of sunshine who could always be counted on to lift the spirits of those around her. When upset, Ruby was a firecracker—passionate, fierce, and full of life.

Ruby's heart was as full as her spirit. She adored concerts, sporting events, and any opportunity to gather with friends and family. A devoted fan of all sports, Ruby's soul belonged to the Dallas Cowboys, where she found not just excitement, but a sense of community and connection. Whether cheering from the stands or celebrating at home with loved ones, her enthusiasm brought everyone together.

Ruby's passing leaves a profound void, but her legacy of love, laughter, and compassion will live on in the hearts of those who knew her. Her family and friends find comfort in the precious memories she leaves behind, and in the way her life brought them all closer.

Ruby is survived by her loving parents, Ana and Miguel Cruz; her brothers, Carlos Torres, Hernan Torres, and Jose Cruz; her sisters, Nancy Cruz, Jennifer Cruz, and Ana Esmeralda Cruz; and her many nieces and nephews: Gabriela Caballero "GiGi", Milliana Giselle Torres, Edgar Sorto Jr., Jonathan Sorto, Ian Caballero, Fabian Torres, Aiden Torres, Carlos Torres Jr., Edward Torres, and Ohanni Torres.

A funeral service to celebrate Ruby's life will be held at Jeter and Son Funeral Home on Saturday, August 2, 2025, at 3:00 PM. All who knew and loved Ruby are invited to join us in remembering her vibrant spirit and the joy she brought to our lives.

Ruby, you will be forever missed but never forgotten. May you rest in eternal peace.
