It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of Rosendo Hernandez Garcia, who peacefully departed from this life on February 26, 2025, at the age of 63. Rosendo was born on March 1, 1961, in San Luis Potosi, Mexico, and later moved to Dallas, Texas, where he spent many happy years.
Rosendo, also known affectionately as "Tio Ross" to his family, was a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and friend. He was deeply loved and will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. Rosendo was known for his outgoing nature, love of travel, and always being there for his family. He cherished his time spent with loved ones, and his willingness to lend a helping hand and offer guidance was a hallmark of his character.
Rosendo is survived by his loving wife, Vickie Hernandez, his children Jesse Cruiel and Frank Cruiel, his grandchildren Alexis, Michael, Jordan, and Jacob Cruiel, and his great-grandchild Donnie Cruiel. He is also survived by his mother, Natalia Garcia, and his siblings: Jose S. Hernandez, Irma Salazar, Maria de los Angeles Nery, Joaquin Hernandez, German Hernandez, Carla Isabell Viera, Esteban Petronilo Hernandez, Francisco Hernandez, Alma del Refugio Escobedo, and his ever-loving furry companion, Rocky/ Chicho.
He was preceded in death by his father, Esteban Hernandez.
A hardworking and dedicated man, Rosendo spent much of his life in construction. He was always on the go, constantly working to provide for his family and pursue his passions. His work ethic was a reflection of his love and devotion to those he cared for. Whether on the road or at home, Rosendo found joy in being surrounded by his family, and his presence will forever be missed.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM , Thursday, March 6, 2025 at Jeter & Son Funeral Home. There will be a prayer service at 4PM and a rosary at 4:30PM. Funeral Service will be at the Funeral Home, Friday, March 7, 2025 at 10:00 AM with a committal service following at Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, Irving, Texas.

Con profundo pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Rosendo Hernández García, quien partió pacíficamente de esta vida el 26 de febrero de 2025, a la edad de 63 años. Rosendo nació el 1 de marzo de 1961 en San Luis Potosí, México, y luego se mudó a Dallas, Texas, donde pasó muchos años felices.
Rosendo, también conocido cariñosamente como "Tio Ross" por su familia, fue un esposo, padre, abuelo, bisabuelo, hermano y amigo devoto. Fue profundamente amado y será extrañado por todos los que tuvieron el privilegio de conocerlo. Rosendo era conocido por su naturaleza extrovertida, amor por los viajes y por estar siempre ahí para su familia. También le sobreviven su madre, Natalia García, y sus hermanos: José S. Hernández, Irma Salazar, María de los Ángeles Nery, Joaquín Hernández, Germán Hernández, Carla Isabell Viera, Esteban Petronilo Hernández, Francisco Hernández, Alma del Refugio Escobedo y su siempre cariñoso compañero peludo, Rocky/Chicho.
Le precedió en la muerte su padre, Esteban Hernández.
Rosendo, un hombre trabajador y dedicado, pasó gran parte de su vida en la construcción. Siempre estaba en movimiento, trabajando constantemente para mantener a su familia y perseguir sus pasiones. Su ética de trabajo era un reflejo de su amor y devoción por quienes cuidaba. Ya sea en la carretera o en casa, Rosendo encontraba alegría al estar rodeado de su familia, y su presencia se extrañará por siempre.
El velatorio se llevará a cabo de 2:00 pm a 7:00 pm, el jueves 6 de marzo de 2025 en Jeter & Son Funeral Home. El servicio fúnebre se llevará a cabo en la funeraria el viernes 7 de marzo de 2025 a las 10:00 am y luego se llevará a cabo un servicio de sepelio en Oak Grove Memorial Gardens, Irving, Texas.
