In Loving Memory of Rosa E. Kelly

Rosa E. Kelly, age 78, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026, in Dallas, Texas. She was born on December 17, 1947, in Spur, Texas, to Naomi E. Lopez and Frank H. Olivarez.

Rosa was a loving mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, and friend. She found joy in life's simple pleasures, especially crocheting, working crossword puzzles, and baking for family and friends. Her warmth, kindness, and caring spirit will be remembered by all who knew and loved her.

Rosa was preceded in death by her parents, Naomi E. Lopez and Frank H. Olivarez; her brothers Joe M. Olivarez and Joe Frank Olivarez; and her sister Connie Olivarez. 

She is survived by her son, James Hernandez and wife Otilia Hernandez; her sisters, Irene Martinez, Mary Avina, and Regina Olivarez; her four grandchildren, Jessica Hernandez, James Hernandez, Jr., Naomi Renee Hernandez, and Mariah Hernandez Garcia; and her four great-grandchildren, Maya, Leon, Katie, and Miguel Rubio.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Wednesday, July 1, 2026, at 2:00 p.m. at Jeter & Son Funeral Home.

Rosa's love for her family and the memories she created will remain in the hearts of those she leaves behind. She will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
