Rosa Maria Barrientos was born in Mexico on September 8, 1964, to Gregoria Olvera and Adelgundo Sauceda. She passed away December 28, 2024. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

Rosa (affectionately called Rosemary Johnson Smith as an inside joke) met her husband Faustino Llanas in Dallas and married in 2006. She was a housekeeping supervisor who loved cleaning, taking care of plants (green was her favorite color), and baking.  If you were lucky enough to eat her food, you know she was the best cook! She was strong willed and a bit high maintenance, but a hard worker and loving mom and grandmother. Rosa enjoyed music, dancing and singing.

She was preceded in death by her mother Gregoria Olvera.

Rosa is survived by daughters Laura Espino, Rosa Ortiz, and Myra Barrientos; son Louis Ortiz; spouse: Faustino Llanas; grandchildren Maria, Richard Jr., Angel, Nicholas, Diego, Analysa, Noah, Isaiah, Anthony (Saria), Ariana, Alysa, Damian, Natalie, Olivia, Donny III, and Sebastian; great grandchild Lorenzo Gomez; and siblings: Alicia, Raymundo, Antonio, Fco Javier, Gloria, Norma, Jesus, and Juan.

Visitation will be 3:00 - 6:00PM Wednesday January 8, 2025, at

Jeter & Son Chapel. 4830 W. Illinois Ave, Dallas, Texas.

A Rosary will be held at 4:30PM.

Her funeral service will be at 11:00AM Thursday January 9, 2025, at

Royal Lane Baptist Church, 6707 Royal Lane, Dallas, Texas.

A reception will follow.
