Born in Kerrville, Texas on April 5, 1949; Robert was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He served from 1968 – 1972 with Sergeant as his highest rank. Commendations: NDSM, SAEMR, AFOUA, SOGB-426. He is preceded in death by his loving wife Maria De Los Angeles Valdez, both parents: Ricardo Valdez Sr. and Maria Valdez, and Brother: Martin Valdez.
He is survived by his two children, Roberto Valdez Jr. and Marisol Valdez. Brothers: Ricardo Valdez Jr. and Adan Valdez and Sister: Lucia Valdez Johnson, along with several nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family, and friends.
Visitation will be held from 1-6 p.m. with the Rosary beginning at 4 p.m., Wednesday September 7, 2022, at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, 4830 W. Illinois Ave, Dallas, TX, 75211.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 12 p.m., Thursday September 8, 2022, at St. Mary Of Carmel, 2900 Vilbig Rd, Dallas, TX, 75212. Interment will immediately follow at Dallas/Ft. Worth National Cemetery, 2000 Mountain Creek Pkwy, Dallas, TX, 75211, at 2:15 p.m.
Reception to follow at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 1111 W Danieldale Rd, Duncanville, TX, 75137; from 3:00 p.m.- 4:30 p.m..
