Robert Mendoza Sr. was born on May 11, 1960 in Dallas, Texas to Jacinto and Julia Mendoza. He passed away peacefully at home in Wichita Falls, Texas on March 3, 2023.

He was preceded in death by brothers Gilbert and Jacinto, Jr.. Robert is survived by his spouse of 24 years, Angie Mendoza; his parents, sons: Robert, Jr., Rudy, Franky, and Tony; step-sons: Jesse Gomez and Andrew Gomez; daughter, Ana Mendoza; step-daughters: Amerika Gomez and Anerika Gomez; twenty grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and many more cherished family members and friends.

Robert was a truck driver and musician. He was a sound engineer and base player and keyboardist. He loved music and dancing. He was a great dancer, so everyone wanted to dance with him. Fishing was also another hobby. He made sure to drive down and spend the weekends with his family. He would spend the day fishing with his son's to bond, relax and unwind.

He was a great father, son, husband, uncle, brother, grandpa, nephew and friend. He will be truly missed.
