Robert Christopher Jones, lovingly referred to as "Chris" was born August 13, 1970, in Dallas, Texas. He was called to rest October 29, 2023.

Robert graduated from Business Management Center in 1989 and attended Art Institute of Dallas.  He met his wife through a mutual friend in 1991 and married in November of 1993. They raised 3 children together.

Robert loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He had a great sense of humor and was full of practical jokes.  He was an avid Pittsburg Steelers fan and enjoyed a good game of dominoes, R&B music, and a hearty, homemade meal.  He liked engaging in great conversations, was always up for debating on various subjects, rebuilding zippo lighters, admired Cadillacs or any nice car.  He was a smooth-talking, low-key, cool guy who always seemed to know what he wanted and stood by it.  And if he got hurt, he believed in walking it off or smoking it off. He was a bold man with a beautiful spirit.  He was constantly seeking a deeper relationship with God.

Robert is preceded in death by his father, Robert Lee Jones.

Robert leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife Paula Tennyson-Jones; mother Karole Mays Jones; three children Kristopher Anton Jones (Brittiney), Robin Briana Echevarria (Joaquin), and John Wesley Jones; three grandchildren Maya Ivanna Echevarria, Lola Sa'rai Jones, and Jonathan Joaquin Echevarria.  He leaves his sibling Derick Chaney (Melinda) to mourn his passing; brother-in-law Caudis Tennyson, IV; the Chaney brothers, and a host of nieces and nephews, a whole bunch of cousins, as well as family and friends.
