Robert Daniel Hawkins

Robert Daniel Hawkins, 42, of Athens, Texas passed away on June 27, 2023. He was born on May 26, 1981, in Dallas, Texas to John Daniel and Jenny Mae Hawkins.

Robert was a loving son, brother, and a devoted friend. He was a talented writer, musician, and artist. He worked as a waiter, manager, grocer, scientist, political activist, and at UPS. He was passionate about trying to make the world a better place.

He is survived by his mother, Jenny Hawkins and her husband Charles of Bluffton, South Carolina; his brother Michael Hawkins and his wife, Leslie of Bedford, Texas; one nephew, Patrick Hawkins. His Grandma, Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins are all saddened by his departure.
We will hold him in our hearts until we see him in heaven.

Family Memorial services will be held privately July 27, 2023.
