Robert "Bob" Lindsey Bridges, Jr

July 29, 1936 - August 27, 2024

Robert (Bob) Lindsey Bridges Junior was born in Dallas on the hot summer night of July 29, 1936. He spent his early childhood going to John Peeler Elementary school and graduated from Adamson high school in 1954. After graduation, Bob went on to do a number of extraordinary things. He attended the University of Texas in Austin, as well as Arlington. Bob went on to work construction doing quality control for a couple years before finding his calling doing real estate.

Bob joined the Irving Board of Realtors and became MRMLS director in 1995 and 1996.  He was elected president of the Irving-Las Colina's of Realtors Inc in 1997. Bob was also elected chairman of Irving Building and Standards committee for several years.  He went on to have one daughter, Sally Pierce.

Bob married the love of his life, Amy, on July 22, 1976. They spent 48 wonderful years together taking cruises, eating out and attending the Calvary church where they became members in 1976. He took pleasure in making people laugh with his great sense of humor. His Godliness, selflessness and strong personality were just some of the best characteristics that he held onto. Bob loved the Lord
and was never angry for the circumstances he was dealt. His God fearing attitude will live on his families hearts forever.

Funeral Service will be at 11:00 am, Thursday, September 5, 2024 at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas. Graveside Service and interment will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
