Rita Dunn

80 years young, Rita Dunn was born on July 27, 1943, in Waco, Texas to Opal Faye Hicks and Atlus Kermit Lindsey. She went to be with the Lord on October 1, 2023, in Dallas, Texas.

Rita was a vibrant woman who enjoyed smelling the flowers and visiting with family and friends. She especially enjoyed her life passion as a day care educator. Rita will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her daughter: Rita Lynn Reyes. Rita is survived by daughter, Gwendolyn Dunn and her spouse Robert Moore; son-in-law Jose Reyes; grandchildren: Justin Dunn, Daniel Dunn, Vanessa Morales, and many more cherished family members and friends.

Visitation will be held Monday, October 9th at 10:00am with a funeral service honoring her at 11:00am at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, Dallas, Texas. A graveside service and interment will follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
