Richard Mau, 26, of Dallas, passed away on May 14, 2026, surrounded by the love of family and friends whose lives he touched deeply. Born on March 21, 2000, in Dallas, Texas, Richard was the beloved son of Sarath Mau and Suong Thach. Richard was a loving father, devoted son, loyal friend, and one of the kindest souls anyone could ever meet. He was known for his welcoming spirit, contagious smile, and ability to light up every room he walked into. To know Richard was to know laughter, loyalty, and love.

Richard was a hardworking man who took pride in everything he did. He was passionate about family and treasured every moment spent with the people he loved most. Whether he was gathered around the grill cooking BBQ for family, spending time at his grandparents' house, or simply showing up for a friend in need, Richard always made others feel important and cared for.

A proud and die-hard fan of the Dallas Cowboys, Richard loved cheering on his team and sharing that excitement with family and friends. He also enjoyed fishing, fixing cars, and working with his hands. He had a gift for bringing people together and was truly the life of every party. His warmth, humor, and generous heart left a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to know him.

Richard will be remembered as someone who was always present for his family, for his friends, and for anyone who needed him. His love, energy, and unforgettable spirit will continue to live in the hearts of all who loved him.

Visitation will be held on Friday, May 22, 2026, from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, May 23, 2026, at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel of Jeter & Son Funeral Home, 4830 West Illinois Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75211.
