Raul Obregon
Loera
Jul 25, 1963 — May 4, 2026
Raul Obregon Loera transitioned to eternal peace May 4th, 2026, surrounded by love. He was the beloved son of the late Jose Santana Obregon and Juana Loera de Obregon. He had nine siblings: Elida, Juan,Santana,Hilda, Ofelia, Rebecca, Hector, Juan Arnoldo, and Mark Anthony and many nieces and nephews.
He was a devoted husband to his wife of 40 years, Nancy Obregon. They were inseparable and he never went anywhere without her. Their love was beautiful, strong and constant. They had two children Raul David Obregon, Irene Obregon and his daughter-in law Valerie Obregon whom he loved as his own daughter. To his daughter Irene, he was more than a father-he was her everything. He lovingly called her his "muñeca", a name that will forever hold a special place in her heart. To his son Raul, he was the prime example of what it is to be a family man, hard working and a loving spouse. Raul was a proud grandfather to five granddaughters: Aliyana, Avigail, Sesalie, Analei and Estrella Aliyah who brought him endless joy and happiness.
Raul was known for being a sweet, kindhearted, loving man with a great sense of humor. He was always joking, smiling and brought joy to everyone around him. He truly loved life and lived it to the fullest. He owned and operated a successful drywall business for over 40 years. Even after long, hard days Raul always made time to play with his children when they were young and later with his grandchildren who meant the world to him.
Raul enjoyed spending time gardening, or at his ranch, caring for his animals along side his wife, and best friends Lio and Juany. He loved music-especially oldies, Spanish, country and Native American music. He will always be remembered for his fun spirit, silly dancing and funny sayings (Yakaray-Yucuru)
His love, laughter and spirit will live on forever in the hearts of those who loved him.
