Ralph T. Mendoza

January 5, 1930 - July 27, 2024

Ralph T. Mendoza, a beloved husband, father, and grandfather, passed away on July 27, 2024, at the age of 94. He was born on January 5, 1930, in Brooklyn, NY, and most recently resided in Duncanville, TX.

Ralph had a passion for the outdoors and could often be found tending to his yard, creating a beautiful oasis. Fishing was another favorite pastime of his, bringing him much joy and relaxation. He had a particular fondness for Italian cuisine, savoring its flavors whenever he could.

When it came to entertainment, Ralph enjoyed watching WWE Wrestling, truly immersing himself in the excitement. However, his greatest joy in life came from spending time with his family. Nothing brought him more happiness than being surrounded by his loved ones.

Ralph is survived by his devoted spouse of many years, Frances Mendoza, and their children Debra Romero (Rigo), Mary Soria (Jesse), Mary Garcia (Ruben), Martha Romero, Pamela Mejia (Edgar), sister Mary Scialo and 30 grand kids, 71 great grand kids and 15 great great grand kids. He is preceded in death by his mother and siblings. Along with his children Richard Mendoza, Ralph Mendoza, Greg Mendoza, Mary Ellen Mendoza, Gabriel Mendoza, Patricia Salazar, and Christine Quijano. His warm and hospitable nature, combined with his generous and caring spirit, endeared him to everyone he knew. Ralph's love and sense of humor brightened the lives of those around him.

A devout Catholic, Ralph found solace and strength in his faith throughout his life. He will be deeply missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him. May his kind soul rest in eternal peace.

Visitation will be held at Jeter & Son Funeral Home on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Funeral Service will be at the funeral home at 11:00 AM, August 7, 2024 with a Graveside Service to follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park.
