Porfirio Mata-Rodriguez, beloved father and friend, passed away on November 13th, 2023, at the age of 70. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering dedication to his family.

Born on June 11, 1953, Porfirio began his journey in a small town, where he developed a strong work ethic and a deep appreciation for the simple joys of life. Throughout his years, he exhibited a genuine passion for helping others and always went above and beyond to lend a helping hand to those in need.

Porfirio's greatest joy and source of pride was his family. He was a devoted husband to his beloved wife, Dolores, for over 53 years together, they built a strong and loving foundation for their children. Porfirio was an exceptional father, always providing unwavering support, guidance, and an abundance of love to his children. He took great pride in their accomplishments and was their biggest cheerleader through every milestone and endeavor.

With a warm and welcoming smile, Porfirio embraced life's challenges and triumphs. He possessed a remarkable ability to bring people together, and his presence would light up any room. His charismatic personality, coupled with his genuine interest in others, allowed him to form lasting friendships throughout his life. Porfirio will be remembered as a true friend, a loving father, and a devoted husband who was always willing to lend an ear or offer a helping hand.

In Porfirio's free time he enjoyed listening to music, watching sports and cooking for his friends and family.

Porfirio Mata-Rodriguez will forever be remembered for his unwavering love, compassion, and dedication to his family. His legacy will live on through the memories shared by those who were fortunate enough to know him. Although his departure leaves a void in the hearts of many, his spirit will continue to inspire and guide us in our journey through life.

his children, Micaela, Martha, Josie, Jose, Porfirio Jr;
his grandchildren, AJ, Carlos, Mercy, Genesis, Grace, Luke, Jonathan,Jose Jr, Bella, Dylan, Max, Everly, Lawson
his great grandchildren Azraela, Emilia, Eli and a large extended family.

Fue un esposo devoto de su amada esposa, Dolores, durante más de 53 años juntos, construyeron una base sólida y amorosa para sus hijos. Porfirio fue un padre excepcional, siempre brindó apoyo inquebrantable, orientación y mucho amor a sus hijos. Se enorgullecía mucho de sus logros y fue su mayor animador en cada hito y esfuerzo.
