Obituary

Patricia Smith

(TWEEDO)

October 24, 1952 - April 11, 2024

Born to Evelyn and I.C. Lopez on October 24, 1952, in Dallas, Texas. She went to be with the Lord on April 11, 2024.

Patricia loved to spend time with her children, grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and many other family members. She was known for her sewing, more than anything she loved to cut her mother's hair and of course take photographs of the two of them. She had a deep love for the Casino. Patricia also owned her own business,  "Tweedo's Salon", and later worked at a check cashing store where everyone in the community knew her.

Patricia was known for: never holding back, she said what was on her mind, she was feisty and outspoken, and yet loving, caring, had a heart of gold, and was known for being everyone's mother.

There was only one Patricia-

"Twèedo"

She was preceded in death by her father I.C. Lopez, husband Rodger Smith, sister Carolyn Cardenas, brothers Raymond Lopez, Louis Lopez and niece Sonia Byrum.

She is survived by: her Mother Evelyn, daughters: Barroni Dyson husband Jeremy Brittany Smith; sisters: Theresa Hill and her husband Roger, Priscilla Lopez, and Grace Simpson; brother Felix Lopez; grandchildren: Gavin Donawho, Devin Donawho, Ravyn Dufour and her husband Darby Journey Webb, Justice Webb, and four great-grandchildren.
