Patricia Cruz Martinez, born on December 9, 1961, in Dallas, Texas, passed away March 16, 2026, in Dallas, Texas, at the age of 64. She was the beloved daughter of Andrew M. Cruz, Sr. and Belen Lopez Cruz. Patty attended North Dallas High School.

Patty married Gabriel Martinez in May 2008. She was a devout Catholic who prayed the rosary every night. She loved music, especially Michael Jackson, and enjoyed watching movies; her favorite was The Outsiders. She cherished her family and lovingly remembered all of their birthdays.

She was preceded in death by her father, Andrew M. Cruz, Sr., and her brother, Paul Cruz, Sr. She is survived by her husband, Gabriel Martinez; her mother, Belen Lopez Cruz; and her siblings: Amelia Vargas (Joe), Andrew Cruz, Jr., Joe Cruz, Rachel Cruz, Mary Cruz, Michael Cruz (Lucy), and Chris Cruz. She is also survived by numerous loving nieces and nephews, as well as many aunts and cousins.

Patty will be missed immensely by her family and friends.

Visitation will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2026, from 2pm to 6pm with a Rosary Service at 3pm in the chapel of Jeter and Son Funeral Home, located at 4830 West Illinois Ave, Dallas, Texas 75211. A funeral service will take place at the same location on Monday, March 30, 2026, at 10am, followed by burial at Calvary Hill Cemetery in Dallas, Texas.
