Oscar De Luna Zavala

October 21, 1950 - May 6, 2025

Oscar was born in Piedras Negras, Mexico on October 21, 1950 to parents Aurelio De Luna and Dominga Zavala.  He moved to the United States seeking employment and a better life for himself and his family, in his early adulthood.  In the states he learned about welding and became a welder in the construction business to provide for his family, but he loved working in his garden for fun. On May 6, 2025, he passed away surrounded by his family.

He is survived by his wife Yolanda Rodriguez, his two sons and daughter.

Services will be held at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, with a Visitation on Friday, May 16, from 2-6pm with a Rosary at 4:30pm.  The Funeral service will take place on Saturday, May 17 at 11am.
