The heavens rejoice as they welcome home a beloved daughter, sister, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother friend, and faithful child of God, Norma June Burdine, who peacefully departed from this earthly realm on June 9, 2024. Norma was a radiant beacon of faith, whose unwavering devotion to Christ and boundless love touched the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing her.

Born on July 28, 1944, Norma was blessed with a heart filled with compassion and a spirit filled with grace from her earliest days. Raised in a devout Christian home in Oak Cliff, she exemplified the loving, caring, kind and compassionate attributes of Christ in every aspect of her life.

Throughout her journey, Norma lived out her faith with humility, kindness, and a steadfast commitment to serving others. She was a source of strength and inspiration to her family, a devoted friend to many, and a beacon of hope to all who sought solace in her presence.

Norma touched countless lives with her compassion, generosity, and unwavering faith. She lived each day as a testament to God's grace, embodying the values of forgiveness, compassion, and unconditional love in all her interactions.

Her impact on the lives of others was profound and far-reaching, as she selflessly devoted herself to loving and serving family and friends. Whether through her words of encouragement, acts of kindness, or fervent prayers, Norma left an indelible mark on the hearts of all who knew her.

Her legacy of faith and service will continue to inspire us all, guiding us on our own spiritual journeys and reminding us of the transformative power of Christ's love. Though she may no longer walk among us, her spirit will live on in the countless lives she touched and the memories she left behind.

A celebration of Norma's life and faith will be held on Saturday, June 15th at Jeter and Son Funeral Home in Dallas.
