Monica Jane Vasquez passed away from a long battle with cancer on June 11, 2022. She was born on January 29, 1967 to Mary Elena Ramirez and Willie Basquez, Jr. in Dallas, Texas.

She was a brilliant chef who adored making meals for family and friends. She will be remembered by her love of cooking, Dallas Cowbay's and having fellowship with those around her.

Monica was preceded in death by her parents Mary (2020) and Willie (2006); brother John Vasquez (2016), and great-nephew John Vasquez. She is survived by: siblings: Sandra Hernandez, Guillermo Vasquez, Michele Carrera, Jesse Vasquez, Marina Saenz, Steven Vasquez, and Adrian Vasquez; nieces and nephews: Rosalina Vasquez, Tallen J. Contreras, Ali Ann Hernandez, Maggie Angel, Jessica Ray, Michael Saenz, Marcus Saenz, Jesse J. Vasquez, Jr., and Violette Vasquez, Payton Ray, Cameron Ray, Damien Ray, Makayla Ray; Great- nieces and nephews: Jonathan Vasquez, Raymond Alex Vasquez, Liza Contreras, Sofia Contreras, Mathew Hernandez, Nichols Hernandez, as well as many other family members and friends.

A visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 6:00 PM, Sunday, June 19, 2022 at Jeter and Son Funeral Home, 4830 W. Illinois Ave., Dallas, Texas.

Funeral Service will be on Monday May 20 2022 10:00 AM at Grace Fellowship in Jesus Christ 411 S Westmoreland Rd, Dallas, TX 75211, Graveside service and interment with Mary's inurnment to follow at Restland Cemetery.

A reception will immediately be held at the church following the graveside service.
