Born to Auristela Ortega and Lucio Carranza on June 14, 1965. Miguel passed away in the loving arms of his family on May 1, 2024 in Dallas, Texas.
Miguel was married to his wife, Guillermina Carranza for 37 loving years. He loved to spend time with his family and, most of all, in the presence of music. His love for music made him an extraordinary guitar player and singer. He composed his own music and would play them on his guitar and piano, which he would play to his loved ones. His sense of humor would always lighten up the room and give people a great laugh.
He is survived by his wife Guillermina, his five children, Nataly, Miguel Angel, Annie, Edson, and Leslie, and his nine grandchildren, Nylah, Diego, Julius, Sofia, Noah, Olivia, Julian, Athena, and Miguel Cristiano.
Visitation will be held from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM with a Rosary Service at 5:30PM, Tuesday, May 7, 2024 at Jeter & Son Funeral Home Chapel. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, May 8, 2024 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church, 2910 Corn Valley Rd. Grand Prairie, Texas, 75052. Graveside Service and Internment to follow at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens.

Nacido de Auristela Ortega y Lucio Carranza el 14 de junio de 1965. Miguel falleció en los amorosos brazos de su familia el 1 de mayo de 2024 en Dallas, Texas.
Miguel estuvo casado con su esposa, Guillermina Carranza, durante 37 años amorosos. Le encantaba pasar tiempo con su familia y, sobre todo, en presencia de la música. Su amor por la música le convirtió en un extraordinario guitarrista y cantante. Compuso su propia música y la tocaba en su guitarra y piano, que luego tocaba para sus seres queridos. Su sentido del humor siempre iluminaba la habitación y hacía reír mucho a la gente.
Le sobreviven su esposa Guillermina, sus cinco hijos, Nataly, Miguel Angel, Annie, Edson y Leslie, y sus nueve nietos, Nylah, Diego, Julius, Sofia, Noah, Olivia, Julian, Athena y Miguel Cristiano.
El velorio se llevará a cabo de 2:00 p. m. a 7:00 p. m. con un servicio del Rosario a las 5:30 p. m., el martes 7 de mayo de 2024 en Jeter & Son Funeral Home Chapel. La misa de entierro cristiano será a las 11:00 a. m. el miércoles 8 de mayo de 2024 en la iglesia católica St. Michael the Archangel, 2910 Corn Valley Rd. Grand Prairie, Texas, 75052. El servicio junto a la tumba y el internamiento seguirán en Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens.
