Maureen Weidenkopf, 78, of Dallas, Texas, passed away peacefully on September 21, 2025. She was born on September 13, 1947, in Syracuse, New York, to Charles Welsh and Vera Schultz. She had two younger sisters.

Maureen lived a life dedicated to service, spending many years as a special needs teacher, where she touched the lives of countless children and families.

She was married to Nick Weidenkopf. Together, they raised two sons, one residing in Virginia and the other in Colorado.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held in her honor on Friday, October 3, 2025, at 12:00 PM at St. Monica Catholic Church, located at 9933 Midway Rd, Dallas, Texas. A burial will follow at 2:00 PM at the Dallas Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas
