Mary Jane Penny was born March 27, 1949 in Eldorado Arkansas to Champion Hytower Cox and Mary Ester McClain. She passed away July 19, 2022 at her home.

MJ is preceded in death by her parents, her brother Billy Cox and her son Chris Owens.

She is survived by her partner Mike Hinkle, son-Roy Owens (Judith), daughter-Julie Cote, Kayla Hinkle, Dillon Hinkle (Michelle), Terri Ann and all her loving nieces and nephews, her grandchildren and many friends.

MJ spent years running big equipment in the construction industry and spent some time in the retail field before retiring. MJ never met a stranger, she loved to talk. MJ was a good cook and always made zucchini bread and fruit salad for the family because she knew we enjoyed it so much. She also enjoyed spending time with her family, especially at Christmas where we all gathered to enjoy the food she prepared and share stories.

Her laughter and family stories will be forever missed.
