Mary Martinez Garcia

May 3, 1936 - January 13, 2023

Mary Garcia was born May 3, 1936 in Dallas, TX to her parents Albert and Tomasa Martinez.  She passed away in the comfort of her loving family on January 13, 2023.  She was 86 years old.

She is preceded in death by her Father, Mother, first husband Santos DeLeon, sons Rudy and Johnny DeLeon and brothers Robert and Frank Martinez.

Mary is survived by her husband Ismael Garcia of 37 years and her son Ricky DeLeon and wife Cynthia DeLeon; sisters Helen Chabolla and husband Ignacio Chabolla, and Tomasita Martinez; brothers Henry Martinez and wife Mary Lou Martinez and Pete Martinez and wife Elizabeth Martinez; several grandchildren and great grandchildren.  A host of nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews and friends.

Mary will be remembered as the pillar of our family and for her strong dedication to family and friends.  She knew no strangers and helped everyone as much as she could.  Mary will be greatly missed.
