Mario A. Lara Solis

February 7, 1951 - May 27, 2025

It is with deep sorrow to announce the passing of Mario A. Lara Solis, who departed this life on May 27, 2025 at the age of 74.

He is survived by his wife Sanjuana Lara and children, Esmeralda, Alberto, Ruben, Azusena "Suzy", nephew David, 22 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.

Mario was born on February 7, 1951, in Nuevo Laredo, Mexico. He moved to Texas at the age of 23 seeking employment and starting from the bottom. Striving to progress and give his family the best, with love and affection. The sustenance of every day, always with a smile. Mario was a good friend, companion, father, brother and husband. He was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it. He became a mechanical engineer at work and auto mechanic enthusiast in his pastime. His favorite sport was baseball and was a big fan of the Texas Rangers and the Dallas Cowboys.  Always walking alongside his wife "Juanita" and his children and later with his beloved grandchildren and great-grandchildren whom he loved dearly. He always lived surrounded by children, always bringing them great joy. His passing grieves us all, but he left us an example of life, love and striving to achieve what we want. He would always say, "If I could do it without knowing english, why can't you?"

The example of life is to walk in the right path and not let yourself give up. There will always be a better tomorrow.

Services will be held at Jeter & Son Funeral Home 332 Cedar St. Cedar Hill, TX 75104, with a viewing on Thursday, June 5th, from 3pm - 7pm. Funeral service will take place on Friday, June 6th at 1pm. Starting at the chapel followed by grave site at Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens 3001 S. Belt Line Rd. Grand Prairie, TX 75052.

Con profundo pesar anunciamos el fallecimiento de Mario A. Lara Solis, quien partió de esta vida el 27 de mayo de 2025 a la edad de 74 años.

Le sobreviven su esposa Sanjuana Lara y sus hijos, Esmeralda, Alberto, Rubén, Azusena "Suzy", su sobrino David, 22 nietos y 13 bisnietos.

Mario nació el 7 de febrero de 1951 en Nuevo Laredo, México. Se mudó a Texas a los 23 años buscando trabajo y empezando desde abajo. Se esforzó por progresar y darle a su familia lo mejor, con amor y cariño. El sustento de cada día, siempre con una sonrisa. Mario fue un buen amigo, compañero, padre, hermano y esposo. Siempre tendía una mano a quien la necesitaba. Se convirtió en ingeniero mecánico en el trabajo y en un entusiasta de la mecánica automotriz en su pasatiempo. Su deporte favorito era el béisbol y era un gran aficionado de los Texas Rangers y los Dallas Cowboys. Siempre caminaba junto a su esposa "Juanita" y sus hijos, y más tarde con sus queridos nietos y bisnietos, a quienes amaba profundamente. Siempre vivió rodeado de niños, brindándoles una gran alegría. Su partida nos duele a todos, pero nos dejó un ejemplo de vida, amor y esfuerzo por lograr lo que queremos. Siempre decía: "Si yo pude hacerlo sin saber inglés, ¿por qué tú no?".

El ejemplo de la vida es andar por el buen camino y no rendirse. Siempre habrá un mañana mejor.

El servicio se llevará a cabo en la Funeraria Jeter & Son, ubicada en 332 Cedar St., Cedar Hill, TX 75104. El velatorio se realizará el jueves 5 de junio, de 3pm a 7pm.

El funeral se realizará el viernes 6 de junio a la 1pm. El velatorio comenzará en la capilla y se extenderá hasta la tumba en Grand Prairie Memorial Gardens, ubicada en 3001 S. Belt Line Rd., Grand Prairie, TX 75052.
