Maribel V. Rico was born May 18, 1972, in Dallas, TX to parents Valentine & Dora Villarreal. Maribel passed away January 27, 2024, at home after a hard-fought battle with cancer. Her friends and family would describe her as funny, outgoing, kind, and brave.

Some of Maribel's favorite times were spent with her grandchildren, going on family vacations, and going fishing at the lake house. She was able to light up a room with her beautiful smile and infectious laugh. She was dearly loved and will be greatly missed.

She is survived by her husband Ignacio Rico and her children Megan Rico, Edward Rico, and daughter in law Jennifer Rico. Grandchildren Anthony, Kailey, Sophia, Olivia, and Elizabeth. Mother Dora Villarreal and siblings Laura Mendoza, Armandina Reza, Jesus Villarreal, Connie Villarreal, and Sylvia Sanaseros.

Services will be at Jeter & Son Chapel, 4830 W. Illinois Ave, Dallas, Texas.

Visitation Wednesday January 31, 2024 from 2:00 - 6:00PM with a Rosary at 4:30PM.

Her funeral service will be 10:30AM Thursday, February 1, 2024.
