Maria Victoria Gutierrez (Vicky), born December 17, 1954 in Dallas, Texas passed peacefully at her home on January 15, 2026. Maria was the beloved daughter of Ernest and Jovita Gutierrez from Hondo, Texas. She was a wonderful woman whose heart was filled with love, which she shared generously and unconditionally. Maria's warmth, kindness, and caring spirit brought comfort and joy to those around her.

Maria enjoyed spending time with her family, baking, cooking, crocheting, and fishing, among other things. She will be remembered mostly for her bold, funny, and very outspoken personality.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Ernest and Jovita Gutierrez; Brothers, Ernest Junior Gutierrez, Daniel, Rene, Thomas Herrera.

She is survived by: her children: Marie Coronado, Jovita Reyna, Raymond Lucero; daughter-in-law Joanne Lucero, Victoria Ruiz; son-in-law Jose Alfredo Ruiz. Grandchildren: Raymond Morales, Roy, Melissa, Valerie(Jonathan), Angelica, Liza (Raul) Avila; Jessica, Gabriela Lopez, Marcos Coronado, Stephanie Reyna; Jacob, Jeffery, Raymond, Giselle Lucero, Matthew, Issac Ramirez; Ruby, Mariah, Juan Raul, Daisy Ruiz. Great-Grandchildren: Valencia, Elijah, Adam, Viviana, David, Lucy; Angela, Roman; Damien, Raul Jr., Jayden, Arianna, Aubriana; Zacchaeus, Zephaniah. Sisters: Diana, Tina, and many other family members.
She will be greatly missed by her loved ones.

Family and friends are invited to gather and celebrate Maria's life during visitation on Friday, January 23, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Jeter and Son Funeral Home, 4830 W. Illinois Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75211. An interment committal service will follow at College Mound Cemetery, located at 7401 County Road 130, Terrell, Texas 75161.

Maria's loving spirit will forever live on in the hearts of those who were blessed to know her.
