Lore Escalante

Maria Lorena Escalante, a loving mother, grandmother, sister, and cherished friend, passed away on January 2, 2026, in Dallas, Texas, the city where she was born on May 7, 1979.

Lore's life was centered around family and togetherness. She believed deeply in staying connected, creating memories, and surrounding herself with the people she loved most. Family was always her priority, and her home and heart were open to those she cared about.

She is survived by her parents, Maria Guadalupe Escalante and Modesto Robledo; her daughter, Amber Maldonado; and her three beloved grandchildren, Emily, Matthew, and Nikolas Maldonado, who brought her endless joy and pride. Lore is also survived by her sister, Vice Cuevas, and her brother, Chuy Medina, along with many extended family members and friends who loved her dearly.

Visitation will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 2:30 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. with a Rosary Service at 4:30 P.M.in the Chapel of Jeter & Son Funeral Home located at 4830 West Illinois Avenue, Dallas, Texas 75211.

Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, January 13, 2026 at 11:00 A.M. at Saint Cecilia Catholic Church, 1809 W Davis St, Dallas, TX 75208. Burial to follow at Laurel Land Memorial Park in Dallas, Texas.
