Margarito Salazar of Dallas, Texas was born on February 23, 1942, in Villa de Fuentes, San Ramon, Coahuila, México and made Texas his home in 1983.
He was married to his forever one and only love, Florinda Garcia, for 64 wonderful years. He was loved by his sons, Juan Salazar(Christina) of Hardin, MT, Sergio Salazar(Leticia)of Hardin, MT, Cesar Salazar(Maria) of Piedras Negras, Coahuila and his loving daughters, Margarita Salazar of Hardin, MT, Elizabeth Salazar de Cepeda of Piedras Negras, Coahuila, Irma Salazar of Dallas, TX, Verónica Mendoza(Martin) of Dallas, TX, Martha Salazar of Dallas, TX, and Gabriela Enick (Harlow) of Hardin, MT.
Margarito was preceded in death by his mother Margarita Lopez, father Asencion Salazar, brothers Mariano Salazar, Asuncion Salazar, Julia Salazar and his granddaughter Isabel Morales. Margarito was the 2nd to oldest of 8 children. He is survived by brother; Jose Salazar and Rogelio Salazar of San Antonio, TX, sisters; Juana Salazar, Maria Ortiz, Dominga Hernandez. Grandsons Juan Salazar II(Cristine), Rogelio Osvaldo Salazar(Jacque), Sergio Salazar Jr, Gabriel Salazar, Roger Salazar, Sergio Lopez, Juan Carlos Salazar, Jose Giovanni Salazar, Manuel Gomez(Magaly), Cesar Salazar Jr, Gilbert Salazar(Wendy), Eloy Morales(Trahnea), Max Morales(MaeZee), Juan Gerardo Espinola, Jorge Herrera, Jayden Juan Salazar, Iván René Mendoza, Isaac Israel Mendoza(Bradie), Miguel Antonio López(Arelia), granddaughters Rosario Martínez, Vanessa Martinez(Ray), Crystal Mejia(Francisco), Selina Gonzales(Gerardo), Daniela Lopez, Gabriela Velasquez(Jaime), Johana Lopez-Smith(Justin), Dulce Kruger(Zac), Verónica Lopez(Dee), Noemi Salazar, Veronica Bull Shows(Solomon), Cynthia Salazar(Jose), Flor Espinola(Fernando), Valerie Espinola(Aurelio), Annie Herrera-Romero(Mariana), Roxsana Herrera, Ivette Marie Mendoza(Julio), 97 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild, loving in laws, nieces, nephews and friends.
Margarito was a life long musician. Nothing brought him more happiness than being around his family. He loved sitting outside the house and socialize with his neighbor Virgilio. Now that he has gained his wings, he will be able to hug his inseparable brother Mariano and his mother and father and other siblings, socialize with old friends, as he watches over his loved ones. We love you and will miss you Daddy, until we meet again.
Services will be at Jeter & Son Chapel, 4830 W. Illinois Ave, Dallas, Texas.
