Margarita Mauricio

October 14, 1964 - March 16, 2024

Our precious mother, Margarita Maurcio, age 59,  was unexpectedly called to heaven on March 16, 2024. Margarita was born on October 14,1964, in Dallas, Texas to Patricia Martinez and Ignacio Mendez. She was the youngest of six siblings to grow up in the Lone Star State. She devoted her life to her daughters and grandchildren and enjoyed spending time with her family. She also took great pleasure in all things western such as spending time at the ranch, country music, and dancing.

Known for her generosity and entrepreneurship, Margarita was a natural born business lady that could turn a dime into a dollar. She will be dearly missed by all who knew her. Margarita's family asks that she be remembered for the joy she brought to others in life, not the sadness of her passing. She is survived by her loving daughters: Loriana Hernandez, Melissa Montalvo and her husband Ricardo Montalvo; three beautiful grandchildren Brianna Montalvo , Giavanna Montalvo, and Aaron Montalvo; brother Ignacio Mendez; sisters Yolanda Salazar,  Teresa Mendez, and Helen Cuevas and many more cherished family members and friends.

Margarita's loved ones have ensured that her death will not be in vain. During their darkest hours, they chose to give the gift of life to others by donating her organs. Through that generous decision, Margarita will bring blessings to those in need and her legacy will live on through others.

A celebration of life will be held at Jeter & Son Funeral Home, 4830 W. Illinois Ave, Dallas, Texas,
